Report a mistake or confusing result

NoNoiseTools is built to be useful, plain-English and careful. If something looks wrong, confusing, broken or privacy-sensitive, please send a short correction note without including sensitive details.

What to report

Wrong calculation

Tell us which calculator, which result looked wrong, and the broad scenario you were checking. A small, non-sensitive example can help, but exact personal numbers are not needed.

Confusing assumption

Point out any label, helper text, FAQ, formula note or methodology explanation that was unclear, incomplete or easy to misunderstand.

Broken export, copy or download

Let us know whether the copy button, CSV export, PDF/image tool, or downloaded file failed, looked malformed, omitted expected context, or included something it should not.

Privacy concern

Report any concern about analytics, feedback forms, browser-side processing, local downloads, storage, advertising placement, or unexpected data handling.

What is useful to include

  • The page URL or calculator name.
  • Which part looked wrong, confusing or broken.
  • The browser or device type if the problem was visual, mobile, copy, export or download-related.
  • A broad, non-sensitive example, such as "a 30-year mortgage with 0% interest did not divide evenly."
  • Whether the issue happened once or repeatedly.

Send correction notes through the contact page or the feedback button on a calculator page when it is available.

What not to send

Please do not send sensitive personal, financial, health, file, account or identity details. That includes income, debt balances, loan amounts, mortgage balances, home prices, rent amounts, down payments, interest rates, tax details, medical information, pasted private text, file names, file contents, passwords, account numbers, government IDs, full addresses, or private notes.

If a broad example is useful, change the numbers and remove identifying details first.

How reports are reviewed

  1. We identify the affected page, calculator, export, copy, route, privacy note or assumption.
  2. We try to reproduce the issue with safe example values or local test data.
  3. For calculation issues, we compare the implementation with the documented method and related tests.
  4. Small wording, layout and broken-link fixes may be updated directly after review.
  5. Material formula, assumption, privacy or behavior changes are recorded in the changelog.

NoNoiseTools does not promise a fixed correction timeline, but reports that may affect calculator results, privacy expectations, accessibility, or broken public pages are treated as launch-quality issues.

Where material changes are recorded

Important formula updates, assumption changes, route or SEO cleanup, privacy/analytics updates, calculator QA work and notable bug fixes are logged on the NoNoiseTools changelog.
