Text tools
Text Tools
Count words, characters or lines, estimate reading or speaking time, convert case, sort lists, remove duplicate lines or clean pasted writing. Each tool is focused on a small text job, so the result is quick to read, copy and reuse.
These tools are designed to process pasted text in your browser. NoNoiseTools does not need to send the text to a server for the tool.

Which text tool should I start with?
Choose the job first: Word Counter, Character Counter or Line Counter for measurement; Reading Time or Speaking Time for timing; and the case, sorting, duplicate-line and cleaner tools for preparing text to copy somewhere else.
Do text tools upload pasted text?
These tools are designed to process pasted text in your browser, so NoNoiseTools does not need to send the text to a server for the tool.
Do the tools save my text?
They do not save text to an account or database. Copy summaries include counts or timing results, not the pasted text itself.
Why can character counts differ between apps?
Emoji, combined Unicode characters, line endings and spaces can be counted differently by different apps. The counting tools show their assumptions on the tool page.
Which tools help with lists?
Use Alphabetical Order Tool for sorting, Remove Duplicate Lines for unique lists, Line Counter for line totals and Text Cleaner for trimming repeated whitespace before copying.
Do these replace editing, grammar or plagiarism tools?
No. They are focused counting, timing and cleanup utilities, not writing advice, grammar checking, plagiarism checking or editorial review.
