How this speaking time tool works
The tool counts words in your browser, divides by the selected speaking speed, then optionally adds a simple pause buffer for speeches, scripts and presentations.
Speaking speed assumptions
Presets use slow, normal and fast speaking speeds. You can also enter a custom words-per-minute speed and adjust whether a pause buffer is included.
What this tool does not include
This tool does not coach delivery, analyse speech quality, transcribe audio or guarantee exact timing. Pauses, audience interaction and delivery style can change the actual time.
