Date & Time Tools

Choose by the time question you need answered: count calendar days, add or subtract dates, skip weekends, find age, total hours and breaks, estimate overtime, compare time zones or count down to an event.

Date & Time tools are designed to run in your browser where practical, so results appear quickly and do not require an account.

How to choose a date or time tool

What these tools do not include

Date & Time tools do not provide legal, payroll, tax or HR advice, do not sync with calendars, and do not infer public holidays from your location. Enter excluded dates yourself where a tool supports them.

FAQs

Which Date & Time tool should I start with?

Start with the job: Date Duration for days between dates, Date Calculator for adding or subtracting time, Business Days when weekends or exclusions matter, Age for birth-date math, Time Card or Work Hours for schedules, and Time Zone or Meeting Planner for cross-zone planning.

What is the difference between Date Duration and Date Calculator?

Date Duration counts the span between two dates. Date Calculator starts with one date and adds or subtracts days, weeks, months or years.

When should I use Business Days instead of Date Duration?

Use Business Days when weekends or manually entered excluded dates should be skipped. Use Date Duration when every calendar day should count.

Do these tools include public holidays automatically?

No. Business Days Calculator lets you enter custom excluded dates, but the Date & Time hub does not include a full public holiday database.

How should I handle time zones and daylight saving time?

Use Time Zone Converter for one time and Meeting Time Planner for several zones. These tools rely on browser-supported time-zone data, so check important times around daylight saving transitions.

Do the Date & Time tools store my entries?

They are designed to run in the browser where practical and do not require an account.

Do the work tools give payroll advice?

No. Work and overtime tools are general estimates only and do not interpret employment law, contracts, payroll deductions, taxes or HR policy.
