Generate a QR code
Enter text or a URL, choose scan-friendly options, then generate a static QR code locally.
The exact text is encoded in the QR code. The tool does not shorten, fetch or safety-check URLs.
Error correction
Higher correction can survive more damage but creates a denser code.
Whole pixels from 128 to 2048.
Colours and quiet zone
6-digit HEX.
6-digit HEX.
Modules from 0 to 10.
Privacy notes
QR content is encoded in this browser tab. NoNoiseTools does not need to upload the text or URL for this tool.
The QR code is static and untracked. Avoid encoding secrets or sensitive URLs unless you trust this device.
How this QR code generator works
The tool encodes the exact text you enter into a static QR code in the browser. It does not shorten URLs, host the destination, create a redirect link or track scans.
Text and URL QR codes
A QR code can contain a URL or plain text. URL-like input is still encoded as text; the tool does not open, validate or safety-check the destination.
Error correction and density
Higher error correction can make a QR code more resilient to small damage, but it also increases density. Long content and low contrast can make scanning harder, especially at small printed sizes.
Privacy notes
QR content is encoded in the browser. NoNoiseTools does not need to upload pasted text or URLs to a server for this tool.
Avoid encoding API keys, passwords, tokens, signed URLs or private customer data unless you trust this device. Static QR codes can be scanned by anyone who can see the image.
What this tool does not include
It does not create dynamic QR codes, track scans, shorten URLs, add logos, scan QR codes or guarantee print quality for every use case.
Key terms and assumptionsShort notes about static QR content, browser-side generation, error correction, colour contrast and scan limits.
- Static output
- The QR code contains the exact text entered and is not a hosted redirect or dynamic QR code.
- Browser generation
- QR encoding and downloads happen in the browser tab without a QR service.
- Content limit
- This version limits input length and warns when long content creates a dense QR code.
- Colour contrast
- Low-contrast foreground and background colours are blocked or warned because scan reliability can suffer.
- No URL safety check
- The tool does not fetch, validate, shorten or safety-check URL destinations.

FAQs
Is my QR code content uploaded?
No. The QR code is generated in your browser for this tool.
Does this create dynamic QR codes?
No. It creates static QR codes that contain the exact text or URL entered.
Does NoNoiseTools track scans?
No. This tool does not create tracking links or scan analytics.
Can I download the QR code?
Yes. PNG and SVG downloads are available from the generated result.
Why does long text make a dense QR code?
More content requires more QR modules, which can be harder to scan at small sizes.
Can I add a logo?
Not in this version. Logos add scan reliability and design decisions that should be separate scope.
Does this check whether a URL is safe?
No. It only encodes the URL text into the QR code.
