How this Wordle solver works
The tool filters five-letter words from the shared general word list. Green letters match exact positions, yellow letters must appear somewhere in the word, grey letters are excluded unless that same letter is also required by a green or yellow clue.
Green, yellow and grey assumptions
Correct letters are fixed by position. Present letters are treated as minimum letter counts, and the optional wrong-position fields can mark yellow letters that cannot be in a specific square.
Repeated-letter caveats
Repeated letters can be tricky because a grey copy may mean there are no extra copies, not that the letter is fully absent. When a letter is both required and grey, this solver keeps the required letter and shows a caution note.
